Rounded Rectangle: Advisory Rounded Rectangle: Peter Rose, P. Eng. Mr. Rose is currently the VP of Engineering at Span International. Mr. Rose has also held engineering management and director positions at leading technology companies such as Celestica, Scientific Atlanta (division of Cisco), Ford Electronics (Visteon) and Northern Telecom (Nortel). In addition, Mr. Rose served as President of the Surface Mount Technology Association (Toronto Chapter) from 1996-1998 and as Vice President 1995. He is a founding member of the Advance Centre for Microelectronics at George Brown College and served as a member of the Board of Governors of George Brown College from 1998-2001.  Mr. Rose is able to contribute greatly to Phybridge as an advisory board member through his broad experience and extensive knowledge in all product development and electronics manufacturing.  Abraham Vasant Mr. Vasant holds several patents in the area of telecommunications which have been licensed by companies such as Rockwell International and Wescom. Mr. Vasant is the founder and CTO of California based firm PeeVee Inc. that addresses environmental issues through IP licensing for multimodal transportation for energy efficient vehicles. Mr. Vasant has held a Manager, Technical Marketing position with Sun Microsystems where along with his technical marketing responsibilities, he was also involved in the transfer of intellectual property. As VP of Engineering at OAZ Communications, Mr. Vasant was responsible for the design of the “Document Director” board which was widely deployed by most large manufacturers of fax servers such as IBM, AT&T, Sprint and MCI. With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Vasant has worked on three generations of Telephony switches and he is considered an authority on VOIP. His vast experience in regulatories and Intellectual Properties is a great asset to Phybridge. Mr. Vasant is a proud member of the U.S. Coast Guard. Rounded Rectangle: John McKerracher Mr. McKerracher has spent over 20 years in various senior positions at Bell Canada including Vice President of Network Solutions - Outsourcing, Strategy and Business Development at Bell Sygma; Vice President of Network Technology at Bell Global Solutions; Director of Advanced Intelligent Networks at Stentor Research Centre and Director of Advanced Network Systems at Bell Canada. Mr. McKerracher’s extensive professional experience also includes a variety of senior positions such as Vice President of IP/Data and Usage Solutions at Objective Systems Integrators in California and Vice President of Business Development at Syndesis, a start-up developing service activation software. In the latter capacity, Mr. McKerracher built the Syndesis Channel Management Program, OSS Partner Program and System Integrator Program. He also ran its Bell Canada account and was in charge of opening up operations in Europe. While at Syndesis, he managed relationships with Canadian government organizations such as Export Development Canada (EDC) and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). Currently, Mr. McKerracher provides Business Development Programs for emerging and established technology companies. These have included Empowered Networks, NewStep Networks, AIS Canada and OES Technology Inc. Mr. McKerracher’s strong roots in business development contribute invaluable expertise to Phybridge. Richard Kasslack Mr. Kasslack has nearly two decades of presence in Network Administration and Call Center Operations. His impressive appointments have included Director of Call Centre Operations at Sun Media Corporation (division of Quebecor World Inc.), Corporate Technology/Infrastructure Specialist at Investment Planning Counsel (division of Power Financial Corporation) and Certified UNIX System Administrator at Datapoint Canada. In addition, Mr. Kasslack has been a contributing member for the Active Directory Governance Group at Power Financial Corporation. He is a seasoned professional and his expertise brings great potential to Phybridge’s advisory board.
