Phybridge Receives Unified Communications Magazine’s 2008 Product of the Year Award 2/5/2009

Oakville, Ontario, Canada — Phybridge announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC®) Unified Communications magazine (www.uc-mag.com) has named the Phybridge UniPhyer as a recipient of its 2008 Product of the Year Award.

Over the past year Phybridge has been working on bringing to market a disruptive technology that the company believes will change the way VoIP is deployed in an office. Current VoIP deployments require transitioning voice requirements onto the LAN and that has created many problems and barriers for both providers and customers. The Phybridge UniPhyer enables a risk free, quick and easy way to deploy IPT in an office with QoS and POE. This is done by leveraging the existing phone wiring to provide a parallel IP network with a dedicated voice path. Over 20 million lines a year are moving to VoIP and the marketplace will greatly benefit from this fresh approach.

“Phybridge has proven they are committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace. Unified Communications is pleased to grant a 2008 Product of the Year Award to their UniPhyer,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and Editor-in-Chief of Unified Communications magazine. We’re proud to honor their hard work and accomplishments and look forward to more innovative solutions from Phybridge in the future.”

A full list of Product of the Year winners will be published in the March/April, 2009 issue of Unified Communications magazine, www.uc-mag.com.
